65 Days to Make It Happen!
plus how to turn your nomad dreams into reality
đď¸ Only 65 days left in the yearâwhat will you make of them?
Hey there my freedom seeking friend!
This summer has been a whirlwind of travel and adventure for me, and Iâm loving every minute of it. But if Iâm honest, Iâve been feeling a tad unmotivated to crack open my laptop and dive into work.
Finding that balance between being present on the road and staying productive hasnât been easy. As I head to Brisbane to settle down for a bit, Iâve been asking myself how I can get back into âwork modeâ and make the most of these last few months of the year.
And right on cue, I got two emails from people I admire: Shaan Puri and Scott Galloway. Both had something to say about action and the importance of seizing the time we have left this year, and their words hit at just the right moment.
Shaanâs message was a straightforward reminder: there are only 67 days left in the year. (I received it Friday)
Just enough time, he says, to dive into that one thing youâve been wanting to do. Whether itâs launching a project, making a change, or even just setting a solid goalâ67 days is the perfect window to make it happen.
Shaan emphasizes intensity, not just as a strategy but as the factor that separates âaverageâ results from âexceptionalâ ones. Itâs about showing up every day, taking action, and going all-in, no matter how small the steps may feel.
Then came Scott Gallowayâs email, completely unrelated but equally relevant. He touched on the issue of rising societal anxiety and shared a powerful line: âAction absorbs anxiety.â
Itâs simple but so true. When weâre moving and taking action, even in small ways, we keep those doubts and stresses at bay. Sitting still, on the other hand, can let those feelings build. That line stuck with me, and I realized that the best way to get back into âwork modeâ is simply to start moving.
Then yesterday, my daughter opened up about her own worries about future goals, feeling that same lack of direction I was struggling with. I shared Scottâs line with her, and we decided to try a 30-day daily action challenge together.
Nothing complicated, just a commitment to doing one small, meaningful thing each day to move toward a goal (hers is songwriting, mine is article writing). We agreed that even a tiny step forward each day can add up to major progressâand, more importantly, motivation.
So, with Shaanâs â67 daysâ challenge and Scottâs reminder about action on my mind, I want to ensure my 30 day daily action challenge turns to 60 or so days to close out the year. Iâm aiming to take a single, intentional action each day to bring focus and momentum back into my work.
Iâm not talking about taking giant leaps but just finding a rhythm and showing up consistently.
And Iâm inviting you to join me. With just over two months left in the year, ask yourself: Whatâs one thing you want to make progress on by December 31?
Donât wait for January 1 to set new goals. We donât need a ânew yearâ to startâit starts whenever weâre ready.
Waiting for the right moment or perfect conditions often just means more waiting. Instead, think of the next 65 days as an opportunity to make real progress, one day at a time. Whatever your goal, what matters most is committing to action, every single day.
So if youâre up for the challenge pick that one goal, decide on that first small step, and take it. Whatâs one small, impactful action you can commit to every day that would mean the world to you if you kept it up?
Remember, weâre all in this together, and if you need accountability, share your goal with someone who will cheer you on. Letâs make these last days of the year truly count, and look back with pride on what weâve accomplished.
The countdown is on, and 65 days is exactly the right amount of time.
Whatâs your thing?

đŚ Hello Australia
Our suitcase living for this summer is almost at an end. Weâve arrived in Melbourne on route to Brisbane which will be our final stop for a few months, while my daughter works & saves for college next year.
We had a fantastic time in Phuket, meeting up with all our friends and celebrating a good pals 50th (heâs a pilot and we had an amazing dinner inside an old plane - pics below!)
Thailand truly is a magical place and despite the growing traffic & rising prices in Phuket, everytime Iâm away for any length of time means I appreciate it all the more when I get back.
We managed to squeeze in a couple of boat trips while there and Phang Nga Bay is truly a bucket list item I highly recommend.
One of these days Iâll run a 50+ digital nomad retreat with an overnight trip to Phang Nga Bay included. Itâll be unforgettable! Iâll keep you updated! đđď¸đ
As of today weâre currently in Melbourne & stopped by the market this morning for some South Melbourne Market Dim Sims (donât tell me whatâs in them, I donât want to know!đ)

Let me know if youâre based in Brisbane, it would be great to meet up! đ
