Last night, I stood in a packed stadium, watching Billie Eilish bounce around the stage like she was in her own living room, just having the time of her life. (Fab gig by the way!)

No pressure, no trying to ‘be perfect,’ just pure, unfiltered joy. And I thought—isn’t this exactly how life and business should be?

We put so much weight on ‘getting it right,’ ticking the boxes, following the rules. But how often do we just do something because we love it? Because it lights us up?

That’s exactly what I’ve been asking myself with The Working Traveller. I don’t want this to be just another brand about making money online, or a generic travel blog. I want it to feel fun, inspiring & exciting.

I want to be a little voice on your shoulder nudging you to get out there, explore the world, and create fun side hustles that actually make you happy.

If I can’t make you smile, dream bigger, or get excited about discovering new places (while funding your adventures in a way that feels light and playful), then I’m doing something wrong!

So, consider this your weekly nudge:

Have more fun. 

Do something today just because it brings you joy. And with everything going on in the world at the moment, my advice? Turn off your phone and travel.

Ecom & AI Update: Almost There! 🛍️🤖

My goal this week was to get my shop live with two journals I’ve created - ‘The Bucket List Adventure Journal for 50+ Nomads’, and ‘The 50+ Aspiring Nomad Journal’ (working title), and some fun print-on-demand items.

But unfortunately KDP approval moves at a glacial pace, and time got away from me. 😅 

So, while it’s not live yet, it will be this week! In the meantime the Shopify store is set up, subdomains are sorted, and things are moving! 🎉 

On the AI front, I’ve been working on a couple of posts about how I’m using AI to build my store.

So many of you have told me you’re keen to learn more about AI, and I’m excited to share the behind-the-scenes of how it’s making this process so much easier. Stay tuned for that!

Now, I’ll be honest—these first products aren’t mind-blowingly unique (yet). You can buy similar versions elsewhere. But I have to start somewhere!
