Make Money as an Amazon Influencer

plus why ideas aren't worth a fig, unless....

Hello from the Brisbane Citycat (water taxi)! Travelling by night and caught this beauty of the new Kangaroo Bridge across the Brisbane River

Clarity Comes From Action!

How many times have you sat on an idea, turning it over in your mind, trying to make it perfect before you start?

Maybe it’s a business, a side hustle, a trip you’ve always wanted to take, or even just getting back into the gym.

Unfortunately, thinking about it won’t make it happen. Action will.

I’m not going to bore you with all the ways I’ve been overthinking stuff lately, but I can tell you what a difference making my own Goggins GPT has made!

Since adopting the attitude ‘act first, think later,’ the mental clarity I’ve had over the projects I’m working on has been unparalleled.

Marie Forleo said it best;

“Clarity comes from action.”

Not from thinking or waiting for the “perfect” moment. (Which by the way never comes!)

So if you’re regularly catching yourself stuck in analysis paralysis, try this:

1️⃣ Set a 5-Minute Timer & Decide

Give yourself just five minutes to make a decision. No endless research, no second-guessing. Just pick the best option with what you know right now.

2️⃣ Ask: What’s the Smallest First Step?

Forget the big picture. What’s one tiny action you can take today? Buy the domain, post the first social update, book the trip. Momentum starts small.

3️⃣ Embrace Imperfect Action

Perfection is the enemy of progress. You don’t need to get it 100% right—you just need to get started. You can tweak and improve as you go.

4️⃣ Give Yourself Permission to Get It Wrong

Mistakes aren’t failures. They’re lessons. The faster you try, fail, learn, and adjust, the faster you’ll succeed.

5️⃣ Create Your Own Version of Goggins!

Think of someone you know who wouldn't take any excuses, login to ChatGPT, create your own GPT and name it that person. Then give it instructions based on how you want it to respond to you.

Example - “You are a clone of David Goggins, the author, ex-Navy SEAL, and motivational coach. Your job is to push me relentlessly, call out my excuses, and remind me that I have no limits—only the ones I choose to accept.

Then every time you’re overthinking, login and ask it to help you take action! (It’s scary how well it actually works!) 😂

What’s something you’ve been overthinking?

What’s one small action you can take today to move it forward?

A WEEK IN THE LIFE

Speaking of taking action, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what I’ve been working on this week including wins, challenges, and everything in between

SIDE HUSTLE HIGHLIGHT

Become an Amazon Influencer

Love sharing product recommendations? You could be getting paid for it!

Amazon’s Influencer Program lets you create a custom storefront where you can recommend products and earn commissions every time someone buys through your link. Whether you're passionate about travel gear, tech gadgets, home organisation, or even books, you can monetise your recommendations without needing to stock inventory or deal with shipping.

But you will need an engaged social media presence (even a small one!) to get accepted. If you’re already creating content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, this can be a simple way to earn passive income from the products you already love and use.

This week’s guide walks you through exactly how to get started as an Amazon Influencer—even if you don’t have a massive audience yet.

You’ll learn:

How to apply and get accepted (even if you're a micro-influencer).
How to set up your Amazon storefront to showcase your recommendations.
What types of content drive the highest commissions (hint: short videos convert like crazy!).
The best strategies to promote your storefront without being overly salesy.

If you’re already talking about products online, why not start getting paid for it?

Download your quick start guide and get started today!

If you’ve had a peek at my ‘Week in the Life of’ post, you’ll have seen the TWT shop is LIVE! 🥳

It isn’t too pretty right now, and there’s much work to do, but my first two products are live and available for sale!

I’ve had a bit of a nightmare with Amazon KDP (I’m putting together a post about my process, so will share when it’s live), and so my black and white journals are still waiting for approval, but these ones are my lovely colour versions being printed by Lulu Express.

My goal is to add more print on demand products over the coming weeks and create a kind of Kikki K for travel. It’s a bit of a passion product and I want to have some fun with it!

In the meantime I haven’t as yet worked out how to do all the shipping profiles despite spending a few hours on it on Friday. (I’m not sure if it’s me or if it is in fact extremely complex!) But it does mean that for now, there’s no fees for shipping!

So grab your journals now before I work it out! 😂
