Hey there from Orewa Beach, NZ!

The Far Far North & a FREE Notion Planner

Hey there my nomadic adventurer!

I hope you’d had a fab week, wherever you are in the world.

As I write this, we’re at a house sit in Murrays Bay, on the east coast of NZ not far from Auckland. We’re heading back to the sunny BrisVegas tomorrow and I’m looking forward to seeing my hardworking daughter!

It’s been an adventurous week here in NZ. We drove right to the top of the Far Far North of New Zealand (that’s what they call the far North - the Far Far North - felt like I was in a fairytale 😂), and visited the lighthouse at Cape Reinga, overlooking the magnificent convergence of the Tasman Sea with the Pacific Ocean.

The Tasman Sea meeting the Pacific Ocean

Māori legend has it that the spirits of the dead departed from Cape Reinga, beginning their final journey back to Hawaiki, the ancestral homeland. They were said to travel down the roots of an ancient Pōhutukawa tree, clinging to the cliffside, before slipping into the ocean and following the currents home.

That’s one of the things I’ve most enjoyed about travelling through New Zealand. The ancient stories and legends. It’s a fascinating country and I know so much more about not just NZ, but Māori and Polynesian history in general. Enough to dig deeper and learn even more! If you have any good books, movies or documentaries you recommend please hit reply and let me know!

In the meantime I’ve been posting lots of info and pics on the FB page & group, check them out here;

I’ve also learned a lot about packing efficiently for one night stays! I wrote a quick post about my new ‘go bag’ strategy that I shall be employing for all future trips.

Moving on to today’s side hustle strategy. My good friend and Notion expert Sandi Eveleth is doing this very thing. She actually took our 90 day planner which we sell on Amazon and turned it into a Notion planner, which you can access for free here;

90 Day Planner Notion Template - (Be sure to duplicate to your own Notion account or it won’t work).

Last we spoke Sandi was mainly working with course creators and authors to create notion systems out of their courses and books. But you could do anything with this, from selling templates to helping people create notion based courses, to setting up entire organisational systems within small companies. It’s a great side hustle that could become a full time income with the right strategy.

I hope it helps!
